About The Position

The Corporate Communications Intern supports internal and external communication initiatives by creating engaging content for a variety of channels, including social media, company intranet articles, emails, video scripts, and employee communication platforms. This role conducts research, interviews stakeholders, and helps develop messaging that supports organizational goals and employee engagement.

Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Must be able to give presentations and communicate with business leaders.
Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills required.
Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work.
Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.
Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights.
Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation.
Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection.
Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4 point scale) overall GPA.
Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Journalism, Communications, Writing, PR or a related degree from an accredited college or university with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship required.

Interviewing, researching and crafting original content for Viva Engage (our company's social networking platform), emails, video scripts, social media, external articles and intranet articles.
