About The Position
The Community School offered by Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center offers high-quality early childhood education for children with and without autism - all in a blended classroom environment. Interns assist with children ages 15 months to 5 years in a preschool setting where they will learn about Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), specifically Pivotal Response Treatment! This internship is ideal for current or recent college graduates.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with children ages 15 months to 5 years in a preschool setting.
- Learn about Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), specifically Pivotal Response Treatment.
