About The Position

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a curious, motivated intern to join their Artillery team. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analytics, artificial intelligence, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and operational process optimization. The role is ideal for a student eager to learn how emerging technologies enhance business performance and contribute to meaningful organizational projects. The position typically requires 15–19 hours per week, with flexible scheduling available.

Requirements

Must be currently enrolled in related Business courses or be within 6 months of graduation.
No prior experience needed.
Must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program.

Responsibilities

Assist with collecting, cleaning, and analyzing operational and business data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Support AI-related projects such as predictive analytics, automation, workflow enhancement, and data modeling.
Participate in ERP system optimization, including process mapping, data validation, and documentation updates.
Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support decision-making across teams.
Conduct research on new technologies, tools, and methodologies related to data analytics and operational efficiency.
Partner with cross-functional groups to support ongoing initiatives.
Help document processes, system enhancements, requirements, and best practices.
Support ad‑hoc projects that improve operational performance, accuracy, and data accessibility.
