About The Position

This internship offers the opportunity to be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. The intern will build and strengthen relationships with prospective and existing customers through jobsite visits, customer meetings, and networking events. They will partner with the Business Development team to identify new sales opportunities, gather market intelligence, and support territory growth initiatives. The role involves representing KE in the field by promoting company services, understanding customer needs, and communicating value-driven solutions. Additionally, the intern will assist with lead generation, account management activities, customer follow-up, and CRM updates to support the sales process, and participate in industry events, trade shows, and community outreach activities.

Requirements

Ability to work in Goodhue, MN location 5 days/week.
Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively.
Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Build and strengthen relationships with prospective and existing customers through jobsite visits, customer meetings, networking events, and other field-based interactions.
Partner with the Business Development team to identify new sales opportunities, gather market intelligence, and support territory growth initiatives.
Represent KE in the field by promoting company services, understanding customer needs, and communicating value-driven solutions.
Assist with lead generation, account management activities, customer follow-up, and CRM updates to support the sales process.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and community outreach activities to expand professional networks and increase brand awareness.
Additional duties as assigned.
