Intern - Business Intelligence
About The Position
Nintendo of America’s Business Intelligence intern contributes to maintaining the enterprise data warehouse that powers data platforms, pipelines, reporting, and analytics. The intern builds cloud-native ETL pipelines and documented data marts with automated alerts and standardized data definitions; partners with stakeholders to create visualizations and alerts; and analyzes data to recommend workflow improvements and apply AI to enhance predictive capabilities. The internship runs for 10 weeks from June 14 through August 20, with a 40-hour workweek onsite in Redmond, Washington. Interns gain hands-on work experience and receive mentoring, networking opportunities, and exposure to industry leaders. The application deadline is December 1, 2026.
Requirements
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, with a graduation conferral date between May 2027 and June 2028.
- Pursue a degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Have experience using SQL and/or Python for relational data management, analysis, and modeling.
- Have strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Be able to work 40 hours a week onsite throughout the 10-week summer internship.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with data visualization tools; Tableau is preferred.
