About The Position

Kulicke and Soffa is seeking a Co-op student with familiarity in design and fabrication techniques, and proficiency in software tools like Excel, Matlab, and Jmp. This role involves assisting engineering groups in product R&D and support services, developing solutions through analytical computation, design, and experimentation, and supporting the assembly, testing, and evaluation of feasibility models and prototypes. The intern will also gather, organize, and analyze technical data and report findings.

Requirements

• Familiarity with appropriate design and fabrication techniques.
• Knowledge of appropriate software tools such as Excel, Matlab, Jmp etc.

Responsibilities

• Under direction, use broad knowledge of technology or basic engineering concepts and its application to assist engineering groups in R&D of products, and support services.
• Develop solutions to problems that require some analytical computation, design and experimentation (DOE).
• Assist in the task of assembling, testing and evaluating feasibility models and engineering prototypes.
• Gather technical data, and documents, organize and prepare it for evaluation.
• Analyze and report results from data that can be readily obtained.
• Other duties as assigned.
