Intern, AS Process Engineering
About The Position
Kulicke and Soffa is seeking a Co-op student familiar with appropriate design and fabrication techniques, along with knowledge of appropriate software tools such as Excel, Matlab, Jmp etc. This role will involve assisting engineering groups in R&D of products and support services, developing solutions to problems requiring analytical computation, design, and experimentation (DOE), and assembling, testing, and evaluating feasibility models and engineering prototypes. The intern will also gather and document technical data, organize it for evaluation, and analyze and report results from readily obtainable data. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Familiarity with appropriate design and fabrication techniques.
- Knowledge of software tools such as Excel, Matlab, Jmp.
Responsibilities
- Under direction, use broad knowledge of technology or basic engineering concepts and its application to assist engineering groups in R&D of products, and support services.
- Develop solutions to problems that require some analytical computation, design and experimentation (DOE).
- Assist in the task of assembling, testing and evaluating feasibility models and engineering prototypes.
- Gather technical data, and documents, organize and prepare it for evaluation.
- Analyze and report results from data that can be readily obtained.
