About The Position

This internship will assist with real estate evaluations and market surveys, as well as obtain and analyze sales data information to accurately plat legal descriptions for sales and plat subject properties. A typical day involves collecting and analyzing sales information to support appraisals and asset valuation, and assisting appraisers with property inspections. This is a paid internship, and the intern will work full-time through the summer of 2027. The internship is located out of any Compeer office location.

Requirements

  • Working towards completion of bachelor's or associate's degree in agricultural business, business administration, finance or economics.
  • Agricultural background required, with knowledge of agriculture economics and farm practices.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of values of machinery and equipment, typical to agriculture in the area.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), client databases and industry software (Facts, FEM or equivalent).
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
