About The Position

SitusAMC is seeking passionate individuals to join their team and transform client businesses and their own careers. This part-time, temporary, hybrid internship offers an opportunity to support commercial real estate professionals in the appraisal and consulting/valuation management team on a national basis. Interns will gain experience in commercial real estate research, data analysis, understanding valuation approaches, assisting with appraisal reports, coordinating the valuation management process, and tracking quarterly processes. The ideal candidate will possess problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, be analytically minded, able to meet deadlines, self-motivated, and capable of high-level execution.

Requirements

Working towards a bachelor’s degree – preferred fields of study include Real Estate, Accounting, Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
Attention to detail and strong organization skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Responsibilities

Performing valuations and/or appraisal reviews
Managing workflow to produce on-time deliveries
Executing portfolio valuations and large consulting engagements through organizational and technical skills
Communicating and coordinating with market participants, clients, and co-workers
Reviewing 3rd party appraisal reports
Researching property and market information
Analyzing subject and comparable data
Developing appraisal and consulting reports and other deliverables
Working independently on projects and collaborating as a team player
Managing processes and procedures
Tracking the entire workflow process from beginning to end
Performing other activities as assigned by management
