About The Position

Software Mind is seeking a growth-oriented intern or junior .NET developer with solid C# basics to join an agile, international team. This role involves designing and building modern, scalable solutions from scratch to replace outdated systems for a leading travel industry company. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, treating AI as an everyday coding buddy for debugging, research, and learning, rather than a 'magic button'. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of tasks, understand code functionality, and solve real business puzzles within a relaxed engineering culture.

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of C# and willingness to grow within the .NET / ASP.NET Core ecosystem
• Hands-on experience demonstrated through personal projects, a GitHub profile, or commercial exposure
• Basic understanding of backend development, Web API, Entity Framework, and databases
• Working knowledge of Git and the ability to read and improve existing code
• Practical skills in leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Gemini) for debugging, research, and automation
• Good understanding of AI limitations, including hallucinations, data security, privacy, and the necessity of verification
• English proficiency at a B2 level or higher
• Strong communication skills, independence, curiosity, and readiness to receive constructive feedback

• Basic knowledge of SQL and database optimization
• First experience with writing unit tests

Responsibilities

• Developing backend tasks in .NET
• Maintaining APIs
• Assisting with system integrations
• Writing clean, testable code and creating unit tests with mentor support
• Utilizing AI tools consciously for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and technical research
• Participating in code reviews, internal workshops, technical demos, and analyzing bugs/logs
• Collaborating closely with experienced developers
• Verifying AI-generated solutions before implementation
