This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, which includes the ability to work from home, while also requiring to be in person as needed at our Lakeside and/or Clayton Corporate HQ campus locations in St. Louis, Missouri. Requirements

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must be pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a 3.0 GPA or higher with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028
  • Must be able to work a 40-hour work week for the entire 10-week program
  • Must reside in the St. Louis area for the duration of the 10-week program with the ability to come onsite weekly as needed
  • Must have completed ACG101 (or equivalent introductory accounting coursework).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications..
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with a mentor while finding solutions to real world problems
  • Build a lasting professional network through social events and engaging activities
  • Interact directly with our company leaders to learn about our IT strategy and initiatives
  • Assist with invoice processing, expense reviews, and accounting transactions.
  • Support account reconciliations and investigate routine variances.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and journal entries.
  • Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and financial analyses.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Analyze actual versus forecasted expenditures and identify variances.
  • Assist with data collection, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
  • Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Learn and apply company accounting policies and internal controls.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
