Accounting Intern

About The Position
The Accounting Intern will work with and learn from seasoned accounting professionals at Kalmbach Feeds. The position reports to the VP of Finance. The internship is 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, analysis, and other duties and projects assigned by the Controller.
Requirements
- Be a college junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Have strong analytical skills.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be detail oriented.
- Be looking to build a career.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries.
- Perform reconciliations.
- Assist with financial reporting.
- Conduct analysis.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned by the Controller.
