Intermodal CDL-A Driver – 5 Days Per Week+ $1K Bonus
About The Position
The Intermodal CDL-A Driver operates local intermodal routes in the Jacksonville, Florida area, typically within 150–200 miles of the rail ramp. Drivers handle multiple dispatches per shift and a mix of live-load and drop-and-hook freight using day cab tractors. All tractors return to the yard daily, and drivers are home daily, although customer or mechanical delays may occasionally require an overnight stay. The schedule is five days per week with two consecutive days off. An optional sixth day is available for additional pay. Typical shifts are 10–12 hours. Pay is hourly and based on experience, with average weekly pay of $1,250 and top weekly pay of $1,400. Average annual pay is $63,648 and top annual pay is $72,124. A $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus is offered.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum of 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Reliable personal transportation for daily commuting to the yard.
