About The Position

We are looking for an Intermediate Software Developer to join our growing team in Vancouver. In this role, you will support the development and improvement of internal software tools, automation initiatives, and business applications that help improve day-to-day operations across the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, experience working with Microsoft technologies, and an interest in AI and automation tools. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys problem solving, learning new technologies, and working closely with both technical teams and business users.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Approximately 3–5 years of software development experience
  • Experience working with AI tools, automation platforms, or related technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft development environments and cloud platforms
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or SQL
  • Experience with APIs, databases, and system integrations
  • Familiarity with Git, Agile environments, and DevOps practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Power Automate, Power Apps, or Microsoft Copilot
  • Experience developing internal tools or workflow automation solutions
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy, and governance practices
  • Experience working within an enterprise IT environment
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment processes
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and integrations
  • Support automation and AI-related initiatives across the business
  • Work with Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams, SQL Server, and .NET
  • Assist with APIs, databases, cloud-based applications, and system integrations
  • Work closely with internal teams to gather requirements and support business needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and technology-related issues
  • Participate in testing, documentation, and deployment activities
  • Follow cybersecurity, privacy, and IT best practices
  • Stay current with software development trends and emerging technologies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
