About The Position

AWC Water Solutions Ltd. is seeking a qualified intermediate panel technician for a permanent full-time position in their CSA certified Electrical Panel Shop. The company specializes in integrated water and wastewater treatment plants, offering in-house engineering, design, piloting, fabrication, machining, and control panel services. They have a consistent backlog of work, ensuring a secure workflow. The ideal candidate will be a team player with technical experience in industrial electrical and control wiring, possessing strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. The role is based in a safe and clean indoor facility with state-of-the-art amenities.

Requirements

Technical experience in industrial electrical and control wiring
Great attention to detail
Ability to identify and solve potential problems
High School diploma or equivalent
3+ Years of relevant panel experience or equivalent
3+ Years as a junior panel technician or equivalent

Responsibilities

Assemble custom control panels
Wire control panels following a basic set of electrical schematics
Confirm wiring of components as they are completed
Ensure manufacturers installation instructions and all code requirements are adhered to
Review bill of materials for accuracy and flag any errors immediately
Redline drawings as required during assembly
Review finished assemblies for accuracy
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of conduct in the shop
Input weekly timesheets accurately and in a timely manner
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Occasional field site work and associated travel as required
Other assigned duties as required
