About The Position

We are seeking an Intermediate Network Engineer to support installation, operations, maintenance, and improvement of routed and switched networks in secure enterprise environments. This role sustains high availability, supports troubleshooting and fault isolation, implements approved changes, and maintains accurate network documentation in coordination with internal teams and external mission partners. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years network engineering/operations.
• Must have active Top Secret (TS) clearance and the ability to obtain TS with SCI access.
• CCNA or Network+ (minimum); CCNP preferred.
• Hands-on Cisco enterprise networking experience.
• Familiarity with structured change/configuration control and secure network operations.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field (preferred); equivalent experience considered.
• Travel may be required for role.

Responsibilities

• Configures and maintains network infrastructure components (routers, switches, firewalls) and essential network services to ensure stable, secure connectivity.
• Continuously monitors network performance and promptly troubleshoots any outages or degradations to minimize downtime and maintain service quality.
• Implements VLAN, routing, and other connectivity changes through approved change management processes, ensuring reliable and controlled network modifications.
• Maintains current network diagrams and configuration documentation, providing accurate records of network setups for effective planning, support, and audits.
• Coordinates with mission partners to identify and resolve boundary or connectivity issues, facilitating seamless integration and communication across networks.
• Other duties as assigned.
