About The Position

We are presently seeking candidates for a 3rd Shift Machine B Operator in the Manufacturing Department. The hours for this position will be 11:00pm - 7:00am, Sunday - Thursday. The Machine B Operator is responsible for performing manually and/or tending machines which perform various packaging functions such as, filling, labeling, packing, blistering or closing containers. This role involves making minor adjustments, set-ups, changeovers, cleaning and general operation of various filling and packaging machines. The operator will validate and organize jobs in accordance with bill of materials and special work instructions based on current and future job orders. Additionally, they will conduct quality inspections of goods at the correct intervals, ensuring that product is packaged according to the work order. The position requires the ability to identify problems and assist in troubleshooting/training on production equipment including the cardboard baler, plastic baler, carton erector, pallet jack, pick and place card/blister adjustments, and taper/tape gun. This role also involves assisting in training assigned full-time/temp operators and assisting other teams as needed. Forklift experience is required. The operator must promote and follow all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality guidelines and procedures. The ability to fill in for Material Handlers and Machine C Operators when needed is also a requirement.
