About The Position
The Intermediate Float Pool Nurse is a staff nurse at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. The role provides care for patients within the float pool and works collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment. Nursing at the hospital emphasizes excellent clinical practice, patient- and family-centered care, and building relationships that help patients and families feel known and cared for.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current registration in Massachusetts.
- For newly licensed nurses, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
- Able to work a weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
Nice To Haves
- Med/Surg experience is preferred.
- Membership in professional organizations is recommended.
- Certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
