About The Position
The Staff Nurse works in the Intermediate Float Pool at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, providing care to patients across the float pool and collaborating with colleagues to deliver excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment. Nursing practice at the hospital emphasizes clinical excellence and keeping patients and their families at the center of care, with a focus on understanding patients as individuals and ensuring they and their families feel known and cared for. This is an onsite role with a variable rotating shift and 36 scheduled hours per week.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current registration in Massachusetts.
- For newly licensed nurses, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
- Able to work the weekend rotation specified by the MNA contract.
Nice To Haves
- Med/Surg experience is preferred.
- Membership in professional organizations is recommended.
- Certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
