About The Position

Sid Lee is a multidisciplinary creative collective striving to make a difference and celebrating culture with bold ideas. Over 300 artisans work as one team from offices in Montreal, Toronto, New York, Paris, London, and San Francisco. They strive to break the ordinary through brand building, brand expression and brand experience. Requirements

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field (design, advertising, communications, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience in a creative agency or studio environment.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong craft in both visual direction and copywriting, with an ability to think and execute across platforms.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both internally and with clients.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Art Directors).
  • Experience creating work for digital, social, print, and experiential channels.
  • Ability to present, defend, and refine ideas through feedback.
  • Curiosity about emerging trends in technology, design, and culture.
  • Fluency in spoken and written French is required. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is also required to work with national and international clients and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of the local market.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate as an Art Director/Copywriter duo, developing creative concepts and compelling campaign ideas for a range of clients and platforms.
  • Take projects from ideation through execution, ensuring consistency and excellence in both art direction and copy.
  • Participate in brainstorming and creative work sessions, actively contributing fresh perspectives and creative energy.
  • Produce engaging digital, social, print, and experiential content aligned with brand strategies and client goals.
  • Present and communicate your ideas clearly to internal teams and clients, receptive to feedback and iteration.
  • Work closely with other creatives, strategists, and account services to deliver integrated and impactful solutions.
  • Stay current with trends in design, writing, media, and culture, applying inspiration to your work and the team’s approach.
  • Proactively contribute to the continued evolution of Sid Lee’s creative vision and standards.
