We are proud to be the steward of Canadian CANDU nuclear technology. Your role Reviewing the status of existing buildings prior to project design, performing site take offs. Assist in developing designs and technical specifications for systems such as Heating, Air conditioning, Ventilation, boilers, plumbing, chilled water, building controls, along with other related systems. Assisting others in the office with several projects – a knowledge sharing atmosphere. Coordinating system requirements with the electrical department, architects, relevant authorities. Assist in developing feasibility studies and technical reports. Prepare electronic documents in AutoCAD and TEKLA, and three-dimensional computer modeling. Follow client driven file management system for document storage. Prepare engineering deliverables (drawings and 3D models) for both nuclear and conventional systems in accordance with AtkinsRéalis Nuclear Inc./Candu Energy Quality Assurance Programs and project requirements. Apply relevant Codes & Standards and regulatory requirements and coordinate with design team to ensure the compliances. Interface with Engineering teams, throughout the lifecycle of the design project (i.e., from preliminary and conceptual engineering to detailed design, implementation and close-out) to provide practical and effective solutions as per requirements. Must be “Team” oriented with a demonstrated ability to work well with other and promote a positive work environment.
