We are seeking an Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join our Transit team within the Buildings Group (C2 Architecture Inc) in our Mississauga or Bowmanville office, in a hybrid work model. As an Intermediate Architectural Technologist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and grow your career in a collaborative, team-based environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to a wide range of transit projects both municipal, provincial and federal.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in architectural drafting and design on transit related projects.
  • Experience with architectural design and drafting software, such as MicroStation, ProjectWise, Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the architectural field.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the project team to prepare conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and construction documents for a variety of projects.
  • Assist in integrating multi-disciplinary input into the design process, including working with specialists in areas such as traffic engineering, transportation safety, and geotechnical engineering.
  • Support the preparation of presentation materials and renderings for client and public consultations.
  • Aid with contract administration services and/or construction inspection as needed.
  • Participate in internal and external professional development opportunities to continue building architectural knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to the creation of written materials, such as proposals, design briefs, meeting reports, and other non-drafting tasks related to the architectural design process.
  • Assist with design development and reviews for ongoing projects.
