We are currently seeking an Architectural Technologist with strong proficiency in Revit and experience producing detailed construction documentation. The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of building codes and multi-disciplinary coordination, along with exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality work within project deadlines is essential for success in this role.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in architectural technology or a related discipline.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, including 3D modeling and the production of construction documentation; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
  • Experience reviewing and coordinating architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize competing priorities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification with CTTAM and/or ABTAM is considered an asset.
  • Experience within commercial and/or residential construction sectors is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Transform conceptual and schematic designs into detailed construction documents using Revit.
  • Prepare and review drawings to ensure compliance with applicable specifications, codes, and standards, while performing drafting and technical tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the development of schematic designs, design development packages, construction documents, and supplementary drawings.
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with office production requirements, formatting standards, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate working drawing information with Senior Technologists and support the Project Lead in integrating construction documentation across all disciplines.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of an integrated project delivery team.
  • Utilize Revit to develop and maintain 3D models and produce project drawings as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
