About The Position

Ultimate Renovations is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to award-winning residential transformations and work alongside a collaborative design and production team. The Architectural Technologist will help bring clients' visions to life by creating innovative designs and producing detailed technical drawings and 3D renderings. Ultimate Renovations has over 45 years of experience delivering exceptional renovations.

Requirements

A technical certification in Architectural Technologies from a recognized institution
Experience collaborating with designers and project managers and incorporating multiple streams of feedback into finalized designs

Nice To Haves

2+ years of design and drafting experience
Residential experience
Proficiency with Chief Architect software
Previous customer-facing experience
Site measurement experience
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
Understanding of building codes and how they influence design decisions
How you stay current with design trends and ensure your work remains fresh, relevant, and inspiring

Responsibilities

Working closely with our design and production teams to translate renovation requests and site measurements into technical drawings and 3D renderings
Revising drawings and renderings to reflect changes in scope, selections, or design direction throughout the design phase
Producing pre-production 3D renderings based on plans and post-construction photos
Preparing and submitting Building and Development Permit applications
