About The Position

This course extends, at a more advanced level, the material covered in ADM1340. Concepts and procedures, including current and proposed accounting practices, are studied within the context of specific balance sheet and income statement items with specific emphasis on the assets of an organization. In conjunction with ADM3340, it enhances the student's understanding of accounting practices and financial reporting.

Requirements

  • MBA or Master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred) in accounting.
  • Recent professional experience in accounting, including evidence of recently undertaken professional development in IFRS, OR teaching experience in this field.
  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA or CGA).
  • Competence in a second language (Passive).

Responsibilities

  • Teach Intermediate Accounting I (ADM2342 Section A) during the 2026 Fall Semester.
  • Deliver instruction in English.
  • Conduct classes in person.
  • Potentially adapt teaching methods due to health measures or other reasons.
