Interim Wellness Director

About The Position
The Interim Wellness Director is a full-time leadership position responsible for overseeing resident care, coordinating services, mentoring team members, and helping ensure an exceptional experience and the highest quality of life for residents. The role works with residents, families, and staff and requires a compassionate nurse leader with strong communication, customer service, and team leadership abilities. An RN is preferred, but an appropriate LPN candidate may also be considered.
Requirements
- Valid Illinois RN license; an RN is preferred, but an LPN candidate may be considered.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with residents, families, and coworkers.
Nice To Haves
- 1–3 years of long-term care experience preferred.
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
