About The Position

Everyday Health Group’s Pregnancy & Parenting division reaches millions of families worldwide every month through our global websites, mobile apps, online communities, email, and social platforms, guiding parents through every step of the parenting journey – from preconception and pregnancy to the baby years and beyond. The Opportunity Everyday Health Group Pregnancy & Parenting is seeking an Interim Senior Manager, Social Media Content (Part-Time) to provide maternity leave coverage from March through July for our BabyCenter and What to Expect brands. In this role, you will partner closely with our Senior Director, Multi-Platform Content Strategy and social/video team to execute existing social strategies, develop engaging social-first content, and ensure continuity across platforms during this interim period. This is a 20-hours-per-week role ideal for a senior social media professional who excels at hands-on content creation and collaborative execution. An ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience creating and managing social content for consumer brands, is excited to immerse themselves in online mom culture, and brings fresh, culturally relevant ideas for connecting with Millennial and Gen Z women.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience in digital marketing, journalism, communications, or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media, preferably for a women’s lifestyle and/or pregnancy/baby brand.
  • A strong portfolio of social-first content, including experience ideating, scripting and publishing short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
  • Proven ability to craft brand-appropriate copy that drives action while maintaining a cohesive voice.
  • Sound editorial judgment and media literacy skills, with the ability to follow a designated style guide and fact-check as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute social media content calendars for BabyCenter and What to Expect, with a primary focus on Instagram and TikTok.
  • Develop platform-native, brand-building content that clearly articulates the value propositions of these brands through creative storytelling, thoughtful use of social trends, and humor.
  • Collaborate with the video team and Associate Social Media Producer to ideate, shoot, and edit social-first videos.
  • Collaborate with editorial leadership to support cross-platform content franchises and ensure timely integration of key editorial moments into social programming.
