About The Position

Interim Shop Managers are Assistant Shop Managers who are temporarily responsible for managing the service center's day-to-day operations and leading the team to profitability by managing key performance indicators such as oil change count, sales, labor, customer satisfaction scores, and more. They ensure customer satisfaction through proper training and execution of the Strickland Brothers Way on each service and maintain a clean and professional service center.

Requirements

Understand the role is temporary and should not exceed 90 days.
Meet Manager in Training (MIT) guidelines.
Customer Service skill set is required.
Computer and technology skills are required.
Being able to read, write and understand simple math is required.
A Valid Driver's License is required.
Successfully pass company background check
Ability to work at least 50 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate employees.
Uphold the Strickland Brothers core values as an ambassador to the brand in the field.
Meet all company KPIs consistently (Sales, oil change counts, labor, NPS Scores, etc.).
Prepare and post weekly schedules in accordance with Area Manager schedule deadline.
Ensure all team members adhere to safety standards, company policies, and procedures.
Manage and account for all money-handling procedures.
Order, record, and manage inventory.
Ensure the shop is adequately stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
Motivate employees to reach sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Handle customer complaints.
