Responsibilities

Oversee daily inpatient coding operations
Provide leadership, guidance, and performance oversight to coding teams across all facility settings
Act as subject matter experts (SME) for facility coding, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulatory requirements
Perform coding audits and quality reviews to maintain accuracy and productivity standards
Support coders with complex coding scenarios, escalations, and education
Monitor and improve coding quality, turnaround times, and operational efficiency
Collaborate with internal stakeholders on process improvements and coding compliance initiatives
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, payor requirements, and regulatory changes
