About The Position

This is an unpaid volunteer position focused on providing leadership, guidance, and support to onboarding and offboarding coordinators and team members. The role involves collaborating with HR Talent Acquisition leadership to improve and streamline processes, overseeing daily department operations, ensuring timely completion of documentation and tasks, and coordinating with managers regarding new team members. The position also partners with HR on best practices, global initiatives, volunteer offboarding, and performance feedback. Volunteers are expected to attend monthly team meetings and complete additional duties as assigned. The role requires availability of 12-15 hours per week and must be based in the USA. As part of the volunteer program, volunteers are asked to actively engage with the organization's social media platforms. The organization values passion and potential as much as experience, encouraging applications even if not all qualifications are met.

Requirements

  • Must be available to volunteer 12-15 hours a week.
  • Based in the USA.
  • Able to work set hours (neg).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and workplace policies preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to onboarding and offboarding coordinators and team members.
  • Collaborate with HR Talent Acquisition leadership to improve and streamline onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Oversee daily department operations.
  • Ensure timely completion of documentation and tasks.
  • Coordinate with managers across departments regarding new team members.
  • Partner with HR on best practices, global initiatives, volunteer offboarding, and performance feedback.
  • Attend monthly team meetings and complete additional duties as assigned.
  • Attend team meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:30pm EST.
  • Actively engage with the organization's social media platforms by liking, sharing, or commenting on posts.
