About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently hiring an Interim Director of Pharmacy / PIC for a behavioral health hospital in the Bethlehem, PA area. This position is ideal for an experienced pharmacist with inpatient experience who is comfortable leading pharmacy operations in a behavioral health setting. This role includes both operational leadership and staffing responsibilities, including supporting the setup and development of pharmacy processes within the facility.
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
- Inpatient pharmacy experience required
- Ability to work independently and support pharmacy program development
Nice To Haves
- Behavioral health experience preferred
- Omnicell experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve as Director of Pharmacy
- Perform pharmacist staffing duties including order verification and dispensing oversight
- Support pharmacy operations including medication ordering and Omnicell stocking
- Attend leadership and operational meetings
- Assist with new pharmacy program development, including policies and initial setup
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and hospital standards
