Interim Director of Pharmacy – Behavioral Health
About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Director of Pharmacy for an interim assignment at a behavioral health hospital in the Peoria, IL area. This is a unique opportunity to take on a hands-on leadership role supporting pharmacy operations within a behavioral health setting. The role involves providing pharmacy leadership while functioning as a working DOP, approving medication orders, and supporting daily pharmacy operations. The position also includes assisting with Omnicell setup and inventory stocking, participating in P&T meetings and pharmacy workflow development, and supporting overall pharmacy implementation and operational readiness. This is a behavioral health facility setting and no sterile compounding is required. HCS and Omnicell training will be provided.
Requirements
- Active Illinois Pharmacist License in good standing
- Inpatient hospital experience preferred
- Experience with HCS preferred
- Experience with Omnicell preferred
Responsibilities
