About The Position

The Interfold Operator sets up and operates the production line to make products that meet quality specifications. The role includes maintaining machine systems, making necessary adjustments, and troubleshooting common machine and quality problems. This is a full-time, second-shift position in LaGrange, Georgia, scheduled Monday through Thursday from 8:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for ten hours, or twelve hours during the busy season.
• Ability to walk up and down steps.
• Ability to remove and replace mandrels.

Responsibilities

• Check the order sheet to determine the order to run and its specifications, ensuring the correct metal is used.
• Set up the machine and complete the initial thread-up.
• Perform a quality check at least once each hour.
• Record each hourly quality check on the Daily Quality Inspection Report.
• Monitor the process and correct jams and other problems.
• Keep the line clean and orderly according to GMP standards by removing cartons, trash, dust, and debris.
• Troubleshoot minor quality and machine problems and communicate more complex problems to maintenance.
• Perform metal preparation.
• Identify and complete the form needed to provide information about substandard material.
• Lubricate machinery as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested or required.
