About The Position

As an Interaction Designer on the team, you will be responsible for building end-to-end advertising experiences for Local Services providers. This is a fast-growing area that looks at the user journey across the Advertiser Platform and Local Service Provider website, helping consumers and businesses connect and get things done. You are a craft designer with skills that span the spectrum of user experience and visual design. You enjoy being the design owner of features, working with Product and UXR to identify opportunities, and visualizing the future. Design key user experience aspects of the mobile and desktop web experience for Local Services Ads experiences. Create user flows, wireframes, user interface mockups, and click-through prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Create design and accessibility specifications that document the design for Engineers to implement. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Content Strategists, and Product Managers throughout the design process.

Requirements

• An exceptional design portfolio, with experience designing complex mobile applications and focus on craft
• BA/BS degree in Design or a related field.
• 5-7 years of work experience in UX or product design.
• Strong foundations in cognition and human factors
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Strong craft and aesthetic sensibilities.
• Experience collaborating with user researchers, content strategists, product managers, and engineers
• Expert with design tools (e.g. Figma) to produce wireframes and high-fidelity mockups
• Expertise with user-centered design principles.
