About The Position

The Inter Vein Tech performs physical exams to assess for evidence of peripheral vascular disease and conducts noninvasive testing for peripheral vascular disease. Testing includes, but is not limited to, arterial, venous, abdominal, visceral, intracranial, and extracranial cerebral vascular disease. The role also prepares preliminary interpretations of test results.

Requirements

Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound Program.
Three years of progressive work experience in vascular services.
Upon hire, hold either an RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) credential or an RVS (Registered Vascular Sonographer) credential.

Responsibilities

Perform physical exams for evidence of peripheral vascular disease.
Perform noninvasive testing for evidence of peripheral vascular disease, including arterial, venous, abdominal, visceral, intracranial, and extracranial cerebral vascular disease.
Prepare preliminary interpretations of test results.
