About The Position

The Inter Vein Tech performs physical examinations to identify evidence of peripheral vascular disease. The position also performs noninvasive testing for peripheral vascular disease, including arterial, venous, abdominal, visceral, intracranial, and extracranial cerebral vascular disease, and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results.

Requirements

Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound Program.
Three years of progressive work experience in vascular services.
Registered as a Vascular Technologist (RVT) upon hire, or registered as a Vascular Sonographer (RVS) upon hire.

Responsibilities

Perform physical exams for evidence of peripheral vascular disease.
Perform noninvasive testing for evidence of peripheral vascular disease, including arterial, venous, abdominal, visceral, intracranial, and extracranial cerebral vascular disease.
Prepare preliminary interpretations of test results.
