Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Working knowledge of CNC machine setup, operation, and routine equipment maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in the use of precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and related inspection tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues efficiently.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree, vocational training, or certification in machining, manufacturing technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with additive manufacturing and/or 3D printing technologies is preferred and considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, routers, and wire EDM machines, ensuring precision, efficiency, and adherence to production requirements.
  • Operate and maintain heat treatment ovens and additional manufacturing equipment as required to support operational objectives.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production continuity.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation related to procedures, equipment maintenance, production activities, and operational metrics.
  • Perform quality inspections and verification checks on manufactured components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production area in accordance with company standards and best practices.
  • Communicate production concerns, equipment issues, and operational updates to appropriate stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support inventory management activities by tracking materials, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring accurate inventory control practices are maintained.
