About The Position

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Inter-City Fleet Driver/Transporter to drive rental vehicles between locations, including rental sites, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots, according to operational needs. By transporting vehicles safely and efficiently, the role helps ensure vehicles are available where needed to support customer demand and a positive customer experience. The position follows established driving standards and safety procedures and supports smooth fleet operations. It requires regular on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Flexibility to work all shifts.
Comfort driving a variety of vehicles in all weather conditions.
Able to frequently enter and exit vehicles, sit for extended periods, get up and down from a seated position, and remain active throughout the shift.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Regular on-site presence is required; the position cannot be performed remotely.

Responsibilities

Drive rental vehicles between rental locations, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots based on operational needs.
Transport vehicles safely and efficiently to help maintain availability and support customer demand.
Follow established driving standards and safety procedures.
Support smooth fleet operations and the overall customer experience.
