About The Position

Avis Budget Group is hiring an on-site Inter City Fleet Driver/Transporter to move rental vehicles between locations, including rental sites, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots, according to operational needs. The role helps keep vehicles available where customer demand requires them and supports the customer experience by transporting vehicles safely and efficiently while following established driving standards and safety procedures. The position requires regular on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely. A shift premium of $10.00 per hour may apply.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work all shifts.
• Comfort driving a variety of vehicles in all weather conditions.
• Ability to frequently enter and exit vehicles, sit for extended periods, get up and down from a seated position, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Regular on-site presence is required; the position cannot be performed remotely.

Responsibilities

• Drive rental vehicles between rental sites, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots based on operational needs.
• Transport vehicles safely and efficiently to help ensure availability where needed.
• Follow established driving standards and safety procedures.
• Support smooth fleet operations, vehicle availability, and the customer experience.
