About The Position

We are looking for a proactive employee to provide clinical and administrative leadership through the START (Systemic, Therapeutic, Assessment, Resources, and Treatment) evidence-informed model, ensuring fidelity to the approach. This role involves clinical oversight, collaboration with external partners, team leadership, and direct supervision of the Intensive Case Coordination (ICC) Team. The position requires ensuring services are delivered in accordance with evidence-informed practices, program standards, and participant needs, while also managing documentation, data reporting, and staff performance.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field, required.
  • Experience with supervising clinical teams, required.
  • Daily, routine, experience working in a formal setting with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health concerns, required.
  • Must have a valid NYS Driver License in accordance with the Agency Vehicle and Driving policy and transportation necessary to meet program needs.
  • Must respect confidentiality and follow all applicable protocols and regulations.
  • Must exhibit teamwork and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong background in crisis intervention and community-based service delivery, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight of the START model, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with evidence-informed practices and established program standards
  • Monitor and maintain fidelity to the START model through ongoing review of service delivery, documentation, interventions, and participant outcomes
  • Collaborate with START Network and UNH consultants to support program implementation, adherence to model expectations, and continuous quality improvement
  • Participate in and facilitate regular clinical consultation meetings with UNH and other START partners to review complex cases, identify service needs, and strengthen program effectiveness
  • Lead regular clinical team meetings to review cases, provide guidance, promote best practices, and ensure consistent application of the START model across staff
  • Provide clinical coaching, support, and consultation to Program Coordinators regarding assessment, treatment planning, crisis response, and service coordination
  • Provide direct supervision to the ICC Team
  • Conduct regular individual supervision meetings to support staff development, accountability, and professional growth
  • Orient, train, and mentor staff regarding program expectations, policies, procedures, and service delivery standards
  • Foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations, including introductory, six-month, and annual reviews
  • Address performance concerns and implement corrective action when necessary
  • Support the delivery of person-centered, trauma-informed services
  • Monitor participant progress and provide guidance regarding assessments, interventions, and care coordination
  • Assist with high-risk, urgent, or complex cases requiring additional clinical oversight
  • Provide backup on-call crisis intervention and consultation, as needed
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with program requirements and participant needs
  • Monitor program rosters, enrollment, service utilization, and participant outcomes
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation and data reporting requirements
  • Represent the agency at community meetings, trainings, and events, as assigned
  • Observe confidentiality and safeguards all participant related information
  • Follow Agency standards and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned
