About The Position

Alaska Behavioral Health is seeking a Clinical Manager or Program Manager to lead their Intensive Adult Outpatient team at the Gambell Clinic in Anchorage, Alaska. This team serves individuals with chronic and acute mental health needs, providing services in the community, at the clinic, and through a Peer Drop-In Center. The role involves leading a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, clinical associates, peer support specialists, and collaborating with medical and psychiatric teams to ensure coordinated, client-centered care.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field (for Clinical Manager)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field (for Program Manager)
  • Relevant clinical experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for the Intensive Adult Outpatient team
  • Manage and support staffing of the Peer Lounge
  • Support the development of peer staff and strengthen the peer support role within AKBH
  • Provide outreach and support to help individuals engage in mental health, medical, and other community-based services
  • Provide clinical support and intervention to AKBH clients as appropriate
  • Collaborate with clinical, medical, psychiatric, and peer support teams to ensure coordinated care
  • Support day-to-day program operations, staff development, and service delivery
