Intelligent Automation Co-Op
About The Position
In this role, members of the AI & Automation team will work on project-based assignments in small and large teams to deliver automated processes. They will actively participate in team meetings, offering valuable insights and ideas to tackle complex problems. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions for the automation of existing or new processes, covering the full lifecycle from identification of opportunities to deployment. The co-op will leverage AI & automation tools such as Sema4.ai, Python, Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and SQL. They will apply Lean concepts, process improvement methodologies, and utilize the Scrum agile project management framework. Collaboration with process owners to understand and map processes, employing change management techniques, and conducting validations are key aspects of the role. The co-op will work closely with the team to deploy projects into production, complete documentation, and execute knowledge transfer. A strong passion for learning and growth, openness to feedback, and a love for challenges and process improvement are essential.
Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering, Business, or IT
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage competing demands
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration mindset
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 products

Responsibilities
- Actively participate in team meetings, offering valuable insights and ideas to tackle complex problems
- Design, develop and implement custom solutions for the automation of existing or new processes
- Implement the full lifecycle of an automation solution: identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and develop, test and deploy automation solutions
- Leverage AI & automation tools, including but not limited to: Sema4.ai, Python, Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Copilot Studio, SQL
- Apply Lean concepts and process improvement methodologies
- Utilize Scrum agile project management framework
- Work with process owners to understand and map out their processes
- Employ change management techniques as we implement new and improved processes
- Validations with process owners and an end-to-end business validation upon completion of development effort
- Work closely with team to deploy projects into production, complete required documentation including lessons learned and execute knowledge transfer
- Consistently demonstrate a strong passion for learning and growth, remaining open to feedback and new experiences
