About The Position

The Intelligence Program Analyst Case Management (Journeyman) provides Intelligence support to the Department of the Air Force, JBSA – Lackland, Counter Insider Threat (DAF C InT) Program, Case Management Team. The contractor shall conduct intelligence research, prepare and present intelligence briefings, prepare intelligence assessments and studies, and prepare concise written reports. Specific responsibilities include assisting with conducting case management, case management analysis, and workflow management, and providing off-site technical intelligence and management support to JBSA requirements. The role involves working collaboratively with other intelligence analysts and technology specialists, assisting with the creation of actionable information activities intelligence (e.g., counter insider threat analysis) across various intelligence disciplines/domains or scientific and technical intelligence, or within business, competitive, and market intelligence domains. The analyst will assist with producing intelligence reports in various formats for clear delivery, and develop expedited intelligence reports using advanced text and visual analytics. Adherence to relevant provisions of EO 12333, as amended, DoD Manual 5240.01, DoDD 5148.13, DoD 5240.1-R, as amended (Proc 11-13), Air Force Instruction 14-104, and all other relevant DoD Intelligence issuances and training requirements applicable to intelligence, counterintelligence and intelligence related activities is required. Additionally, adherence to all relevant Federal laws, DoD and DAF policies, regulations, directives, issuances and training requirements regarding counterintelligence and counterintelligence investigations is mandatory. The role requires the daily use of government-provided Generative AI tools to accelerate tasks, research, documentation, analysis, planning, reporting, and problem-solving, and making recommendations for process improvements.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in an intelligence, law enforcement, security, or related field (or an AA/AS plus an additional 4 years of work-related experience)
  • TS/SCI eligible
  • Minimum of five (5) years of work-related experience.
  • Of those 5 years, at least four (4) years of work-related experience supporting a component of the DoW.
  • Experience assisting with research of technology, case management, analysis management, and workflow applications/capabilities
  • Experience in Law Enforcement, Counterintelligence, Personnel Security, and/or Intelligence Analysis career fields
  • Experience conducting case management utilizing different software applications
  • Experience documenting decision charts, processes, reports, and standard operating procedures
  • Experience building briefings and materials and presenting at varying levels of leadership, peers, and program stakeholders.
  • Experience in producing actionable information and research reports.

  • Experience in law enforcement, personnel security, cybersecurity or other related fields that require management and oversight of investigative data or information from initiation to conclusion
  • Certified Counter-Insider Threat Professional - Fundamentals (CCITP-F)
  • Certified Counter-Insider Threat Professional - Analyst (CCITP-A)
  • Completion of NITTF Hub Operations Course
  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) and/or AF administrative processes
  • Knowledge of adjudicative processes, systems, and DITMAC reportable thresholds
  • Completion of Insider Threat Detection and Analysis Course (ITDAC)
  • Knowledgeable and skilled at applying Generative AI.

Responsibilities

  • Formally track all tasks, to include: assigned by, suspense, status, and comments on all assigned tasks through completion and be prepared to brief upon request.
  • Develop digital continuity folders and files that include standard operating procedures, workflows and POC lists to accomplish all tasks.
  • Create 2-3 products beyond the client’s requirements that positively impact the client to either increase efficiency, effectiveness, or innovation.
  • Master position tasks within 60 days and exceed requirements within 90 days.
  • Conduct intelligence research, prepare and present intelligence briefings, prepare intelligence assessments and studies, and prepare concise written reports.
  • Assist with conducting case management, case management analysis, and workflow management.
  • Provide off-site technical intelligence and management support to JBSA requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with other intelligence analysts and technology specialists.
  • Assist with the creation of actionable information activities intelligence (e.g., counter insider threat analysis) across the various intelligence disciplines/domains or scientific and technical intelligence; or, within the business, competitive, and market intelligence domains.
  • Assist with producing intelligence reports in a variety of formats for concise, succinct, and clear delivery.
  • Assist with developing expedited intelligence reports by utilizing advanced text and visual analytics.
  • Adhere to the relevant provisions of EO 12333, as amended, DoD Manual 5240.01, DoDD 5148.13, DoD 5240.1-R, as amended (Proc 11-13), Air Force Instruction 14-104, and all other relevant DoD Intelligence issuances and training requirements applicable to intelligence, counterintelligence and intelligence related activities.
  • Adhere to all relevant Federal laws, DoD and DAF policies, regulations, directives, issuances and training requirements regarding counterintelligence and counterintelligence investigations.
  • Use government provided Generative AI tools on a day-to-day basis to accelerate tasks, research, documentation, analysis, planning, reporting, and problem solving.
  • Make recommendations on process improvements and practices that improve quality, speed and/or efficiency.
