About The Position

The ICX Engineering Manager for the Americas builds and leads Siemens’ Americas team of Intelligence Center X (ICX) Engineers, a presales forward-deployed engineering team. The team works with customers to develop business-relevant enterprise agentic AI use cases by modeling customer domains as enterprise ontologies, building machine-learning models and agents that reason over data, and delivering working agentic applications. The role is a formal people-management position and a player-coach role: the manager builds customer solutions, sets the team’s engineering standard, serves as a senior presence on key opportunities, recruits and develops engineers, and works with global ICX leaders to evolve customer-engagement practices across regions. The manager works alongside sales teams and strategic partners and reports to the Americas Pre-Sales Leader. Customer work can include connecting operational and quality data to investigate defects, building agentic assistants to support business decisions, and shaping future engagements with customer leadership. The role is expected to help ensure engagements succeed and that learning is shared across the team. Some travel is expected, up to 25%, with additional customer-site travel possible for those who want it. Intelligence Center X is Siemens’ industrial AI platform. It combines Siemens’ graph, ontology, machine-learning and agentic AI technology with industrial software foundations to connect enterprise and operational data through an enterprise ontology and enable AI to reason over that data and act on it. Customers include companies in automotive, aerospace and defense, semiconductors and electronics, industrial machinery, pharma and financial services.
