About The Position

The analyst researches and analyzes financial-investigation data, assesses its quality, identifies patterns and trends, and presents findings in clear reports, presentations, and graphics for technical and non-technical audiences. The position supports case development by preparing initial research for possible referrals and compiling background information from USPS/USPIS, commercial databases, law enforcement agencies, victims, and other third parties. The analyst participates in NCFTA working groups and initiatives, monitors relevant cyber-financial-fraud topics, liaises with private-sector groups, helps coordinate meetings, identifies financial-industry-reported losses, and coordinates deconfliction among private and public entities, USPIS field offices, and the USPIS Analytics Group. The position is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and may require occasional support outside core working hours and intermittent weekend support, depending on mission needs.
