About The Position

Desjardins is undergoing a shift to cloud computing, and this role is crucial for improving and maintaining the stability of the Azure infrastructure to support developer teams. The Integrator will be actively involved in major transformation initiatives and in maintaining critical system stability. As part of a DevSecOps multidisciplinary team working in agile squad mode, the role involves ensuring successful automated rollouts, platform developments, security posture enhancements, and operations related to infrastructure components. Key responsibilities include diagnosing issues, correcting potential vulnerabilities, optimizing costs, and quickly learning internal processes to maximize value. The Integrator must clearly explain risks and issues, propose effective action plans, work quickly and independently, and identify impacts of maintenance and upgrades to mitigate risks and maintain platform stability. The role also involves coordinating and operating Azure infrastructures while balancing value, stability, compliance, and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Experience in managing and operating cloud platforms (PlatformOps approach)
  • CI/CD experience: continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery/deployment (CD)
  • Experience in infrastructure development (IaC, CaC, Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Experience with the agile approach
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Knowledge of Linux
  • General knowledge of network computing
  • Available 24/7 as on-call advisor with pay

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on acceptance criteria and ensure that issues are tracked properly based on the product owner’s backlog prioritization
  • Strike a balance between delivering value, achieving stability, meeting Desjardins requirements and industry best practices
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Azure infrastructure operations for business lines with varying levels of cloud expertise
  • Monitor the industry to make recommendations diligently to ensure best practices
  • Provide ad-hoc support to our partners to help them implement their application solution, if needed
  • Encourage the development of products and services, in accordance with Desjardins security standards
  • Make sure that the documentation is developed to be usable by peers or IT consumers
