About The Position
Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Integration Test & Validation Engineer to provide software and hardware test support for retrofit and aftermarket technology kit projects. The engineer partners with team leads and fellow engineers to complete daily tasks. Projects are assigned by a manager to team leads, who delegate tasks to engineers. The role is based in Mossville, Illinois, with work split among an office, a lab equipped with hand tools and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) benches, and proving grounds where hands-on machine and equipment testing takes place. The setting is highly collaborative, with one to two team meetings per day and regular one-on-one meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience.
- Hands-on electrical and mechanical assembly experience.
- Software regression testing experience.
- Machine operating experience in a commercial, industrial, agricultural, or similar setting.
- Experience creating software test plans.
- Camera/detection technology development and validation experience.
- Ability to present technical problems and solutions.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Clear communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and assemble wiring harnesses.
- Integrate and fabricate electrical hardware.
- Set up test equipment for bench and on-machine testing.
