About The Position

The Integration Specialist will be responsible for software installation, integration, and testing on Power Plant Simulator projects. This role involves resolving complex problems during development, integration, and testing phases, as well as managing software configuration, installation, and support for both in-house and customer sites. The position also requires the preparation of software installation and maintenance documentation and may involve occasional travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Software)
  • MS Office (including Access), VBScript, SQL, Visual Studio, C++, Fortran, Groovy
  • Experience with various OS (Windows, Linux)
  • Experience with virtualization engine (Hyper-V)
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects on tasks requiring judgement and initiative
  • Strong communication with contacts within and outside own team
  • Complex problem solving and ability to improve systems
  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for software installation, integration and testing on Power Plant Simulator projects
  • Help resolve complex and challenging problems arising during the various phases of development, integration and testing of Power Plant Simulator
  • Responsible for the software configuration, installation and support of all test sites located in-house or at customer sites
  • Preparation of software installation and maintenance documentation
  • Occasional travel
