About The Position

Boeing is seeking aspiring technicians for its Integration Specialist Technician Apprenticeship program in Huntsville, AL. This full-time, company-sponsored on-the-job training program is designed to equip new teammates with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The program is a 4-week intensive course focused on developing foundational skills in manufacturing and assembly. Upon successful completion, apprentices will have demonstrated the ability to perform the work of an Integration Specialist Technician, including following detailed work instructions, utilizing tools and equipment, routing and tying cables, assembling wire harnesses, performing mechanical and structural torquing, and executing mechanical and electronic assembly to ensure defect-free work and safety. Graduates of this Registered Apprenticeship program, recognized by the Department of Labor (DOL), will receive a nationally-recognized credential. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to convert to a union-represented Integration Specialist Technician position upon completion, with further training and on-the-job learning tailored to specific programs.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience using basic tools
  • Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
  • An Interim U.S secret clearance Pre-start and final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required
  • Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62)
