Integration Lead

About The Position

This role focuses on leading integration efforts within the Ecosystem Connectors team, specifically involving REST and SOAP API integration. Key responsibilities include managing the Kong API Gateway for routing, authentication, and rate limiting, implementing security protocols like JWT, OAuth 2.0, and Okta SSO, and working with MQ/event-driven patterns for asynchronous integration. Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, as well as API testing tools like Postman, is essential. Hands-on experience with specific integration points such as ACCM, Paragon, Salesforce (Unqork plugin or direct API), ADI-BP, pol-sync-svc, and EDI/SFTP file-based integration is preferred.

Requirements

  • Technical expertise in REST + SOAP API integration.
  • Experience with Kong API Gateway (routing, auth, rate limiting).
  • Knowledge of JWT / OAuth 2.0 / Okta SSO.
  • Familiarity with MQ / event-driven patterns (async integration).
  • Experience with Oracle + PostgreSQL (read both).
  • Proficiency with Postman / API testing tooling.
  • Experience with integration points such as ACCM, Paragon, Salesforce, ADI-BP, pol-sync-svc, and EDI/SFTP file-based integration.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with ACCM — agency/commission management system integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Paragon — Garage/SFTP/email-based policy flows.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce — Unqork plugin or direct API.
  • Hands-on experience with ADI-BP — ACCM access path, JWT auth layer.
  • Hands-on experience with pol-sync-svc — R3 submission bridge (PACMAN→Oracle sync).
  • Hands-on experience with EDI / SFTP file-based integration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Kong API Gateway for routing, authentication, and rate limiting.
  • Implement security protocols including JWT, OAuth 2.0, and Okta SSO.
  • Work with MQ/event-driven patterns for asynchronous integration.
  • Coordinate with vendors (external system owners).
  • Negotiate API contracts.
  • Perform incident triage across system boundaries.
  • Document integration specifications, including sequence diagrams and contract files.
